Drawing in three dimensions

I started making these wire animals years ago when I needed extra money after I moved from Ohio to New York City. I used to walk around the city and ask stores if they wanted to buy some of my pieces. I had some success, and my wire animal sculptures have become an ongoing side business. My work has been sold in stores in New York, Martha's Vineyard, Santa Barbara, and Dallas, and on Etsy since 2006.

 

I have also done commercial projects, including installations of pigeons in the Renwick Hotel in New York City and a flock of bird lighting fixtures at the Happy Valley Brewery in State College, PA.
